Centre Georges Pompidou_Constantin Brancusi

Constantin Brancusi was born in Romania, in 1876, in a small village in Oltenia. After he studied in Romania and Munich, he arrived in Paris in 1904. He studied à l’Ecole des Beaux-arts in Paris and

then he met Auguste Rodin at an exhibition where Brancusi exposed. He starts working in Rodin’s studio with many other sculpture artists, but he quickly realizes that he must leave and starts his own way of working to become afamous artist. The Atelier Constantin Brancusi is now a famous museum near Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. Brancusi donated his works to the city of Paris and his wish was to have his works collected in a museum that will look exactly like his studio. The  reconstruction of his actual studio was done by Renzo Piano. Here you can see some photos of his works: different studies of birds, The Muse, Mademoiselle Pogany, Leda.
