Antonio Gaudi has for sure a unique style and his own way of understanding and representing architecture. His works are incorporating his passions for decorative arts: ceramic, glass or carpentry. Gaudi finds inspiration in nature, being in the same time a representative artist for the neo-gothic style. What I appreciate most about his works is the way he controls the composition because it is hard to manage with such details. It is difficult to put accents on a building that is treated equally decorative and also to create such pieces of art that are both aesthetic and functional. A lot of organic shapes, ceramic details, colors and textures. His masterpiece, the Sagrada familia, is the most visited tourist monument in Spain among other major works he did in Barcelona: Casa Vicens, Parc Güell, Casa Milà, Casa Calvet, Bellesguard.
