Blue Mosque, Istanbul

The Sultan Ahmed Mosque was built at the begining of the 1600 and it was named the Blue Mosk due to the blue tiles on the walls of its interior. Once you enter the mosque you should leave your shoes outside or wash your feets in a special place. As about the inside, my general impression was that in fact the name could be The White Mosque because during my week in Istanbul I have never seen one mosque more clear, white and full of light like the Sultan Ahmed Mosque.
