Bodies as Food by Bill Durgin

Figures and Wares is one of the great folders you can find on Bill Durgin’s site. I think the exercise was a difficult one because it combines costume with photos and bend figures. The angle is a special one: the best angle that transforms the human body into a fruit or a vegetable.
The photohraphy is clean, no other elements added. The artist plays with contortions of human body, light and composition and what he does, is an intersection between sculpture, choreography,
photography and fashion.
Bill Durgin received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tufts University in conjunction with School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 1995. And in 2000, Bill received his Masters in Fine Arts from California College of Art (CCA) in San Francisco. Via here.
