Simon Prades and his Japan works

Simon Prades studied graphic design on appiled sciences at the University of Trier. He is recognized because of his over-crafted illustrations and book design, in ink or watercolors. Simon also uses pencils or even computers to finish his works.

He combines large surfaces of black ink with smooth traces of pen, see his Civil war Spain illustration. Still, he has decorative illustrations that are full of details. Simon also has a vibrant watercolor style when it comes to represent nature: trees, flowers or details like those from his Diary Camino Santiago.
As about his latests projects he exposed, it’s a social project. Simon tries to express his condolences after the disasters from Japan. Two beautiful and sensible illustrations100 x 70 cm each, ink and watercolor on paper. See all his works here.
