A zooming in food until you can not recognize if your salt you’re eating is an iceberg pr some buildings in New York. The photographer artist Caren Alpert asks herself: “What’s in our food? What’s the difference between a bird’s-eye view of a remote vegetable crop and a microscopic swath from a pineapple leaf?
