Summary:

Modern origami is a unique sculptural art. Each origami design must be individually folded, so there is no mass-production process. Origami are made out of a single square piece of paper, using only folding as a process. Robert J. Lang’s designs are folded from selected paper to complement the design and composition. Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century and was popularized in the mid-1900s. It has since then evolved into a modern art form.

The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. In general, the designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may have different colors. Despite many changes in the origami world over the following decades, the recommendations remain basically the same. The modern origami was born in the 20th century; the Japanese artist Akira Yoshizawa started creating figures of artistic beauty that inspired other origami artists. The origami art is beautiful and creative, and Robert J. Lang’s amazing origami animal designs are inspiring for origami artists all over the world. Here are some of the most amazing origami works by Robert J. Lang. The details and the accuracy are amazing and each and every one of them can be considered a piece of art.
